5 iPhone Music Apps I Love

If music is your passion and you have a iPhone I am sure its already loaded with tons of music apps. I can never get enough of these music apps and it is really difficult to select 5 of them as my most favorite ones but I have finally done it.  Listed below are 5 music apps that I think are the best .. at least till I get my next one.

Last.FM

Last.FM, as the name suggests is an Internet radio but it is actually much more than that. It’s a good package of internet radio stations, Music search engine, recommendations and social network. CBS created its own music iPhone application finally and it’s actually even more feature-rich than the other apps which are more preferred by users.  And, once again, it’s a free iPhone app.  Definitely worth checking out.

Pandora

Pandora is pretty much my all-time favorite source of streamed music online, as well as where I go to discover new bands.  In case you’re unfamiliar with it, Pandora plays constant music based on bands and songs you like.

Shazam

Shazam was created long back but it still rules the heart of every music freak. If you are fed up with your radio station that refuses to play the song you just fell in love with? Let Shazam listen to it for 10 seconds, and provide every detail for it - right from name of artists, title, album and even a link to purchase.

Simplify Media

This is by far the coolest app I've used on my iPhone. SimplifyMedia allows you to access your iTunes from anywhere, as long your computer is connected to the Internet. No more limited music. And if your computer isn't online, you can also access playlists from up to 30 of your friends. If that's not good enough for you, it also pulls up artist info and song lyrics.

Midomi

Midomi is like shazam to some extent. It helps you to identify songs but in addition to holding your iPhone up to the speakers, you can do a lot more with it. The new super cool feature over here is you can also sing, recite lyrics or even hum a melody and it identifies it for you, so generally it is more powerful than shazam but both have different features and capabilities , so we cannot compare them . It’s pretty useful when a friend asks you to identify a song and midimo does it for you. Now that’s what is called a intelli-app. Worth Checking out .

While all of these are really great music apps and are always in demand, it is important to understand your own expectations first and that will help you to choose the correct music app for your iPhone.
